You moved to find new opportunities, but you didn’t expect to lose your sense of self along the way. Arya Armonica provides a grounded, reflective space for female expats, moms, and partners to navigate the invisible emotional journey of migration.
→ The Nomad’s Paradox: Traveling the world but feeling like you have no internal anchor or “home” within yourself.
Moving to a new country is often celebrated as an “exciting chapter,” yet many individuals carry a heavy, unspoken burden. You might find yourself in a beautiful new city, yet feeling more disconnected than ever. This is the invisible side of migration: the moments where life feels unfamiliar, and the person you were back home feels like a distant memory.
→ The Trailing Partner Void: Feeling like a “shadow” to your partner’s career, losing your professional purpose, and wondering “Who am I here?”
→ The Expat Mom Loneliness: Parenting without your “village,” navigating school systems you don’t understand, and feeling the pressure to keep everyone happy while you are struggling inside.

Arya Armonica is built on a deeply human and reflective approach to emotional guidance. The brand stands out by creating a space where emotional transitions are approached with honesty, safety, and practical support.
Feeling like you’re no longer the person you used to be. Moving abroad can create an identity crisis, where everything familiar shifts and you’re left trying to understand who you are now.
Grief that isn’t always visible, missing home, people, and the life you left behind. A quiet sense of loss that’s often overlooked but deeply felt.
When your life revolves around someone else’s move. You may feel lost, dependent, or disconnected from your own direction and purpose.
Adapting to a new culture takes energy. Over time, culture shock can turn into exhaustion, frustration, and a sense of not fully belonging anywhere.
Doubting your value, your place, and your capabilities in a completely new environment. Confidence can shift when everything around you is unfamiliar.
Raising children without your usual support system. Navigating motherhood in a different culture can feel isolating and overwhelming.
Constant movement without roots. Feeling unstable, disconnected, and emotionally drained from always starting over.
Struggling to express yourself clearly. Feeling misunderstood, anxious, or less confident in everyday interactions.
Relocation can shift dynamics. Distance, imbalance, or unmet expectations can create tension within the relationship.

Over the last few years, I have lived in Spain, France, and the Netherlands. At different moments during those experiences, I found myself asking the same question: Should I stay or should I leave?
Living abroad can feel exciting from the outside, but emotionally it can also leave you feeling suspended across two cultures. One version of yourself exists in your home country, with habitual routines, language, and relationships. Another version adapts to life abroad, constantly rebuilding balance, identity, and connection. I know what it feels like to leave Italy, create a new routine in the Netherlands, and then return home feeling somehow different in both places.
This personal experience is one of the reasons why I work with expats, people navigating relocation, identity shifts, emotional overwhelm, grief, and major life transitions. My approach combines coaching, counselling, emotional awareness, and holistic tools such as one-to-one Family Constellations and values-based work to help you reconnect with yourself and better understand your emotional patterns.
I completed a two-year professional training in Coaching and Counselling at the Academie voor Coaching and Counselling, I work as an Assistant Teacher for first-year students, supporting future coaches and counsellors in their learning process. My specializationof the second year is on Loss, Grief and Trauma I am a registered member of LVSC, the Dutch professional body that upholds ethical standards and professional quality in supervision and coaching.
